C# .NET Developers (12) - Columbia, MD

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Need 12 developers with C# exp. Compact framework and .net experience. These developers will be building next generation software for point of sales (POS) solutions server systems, which will have high transaction volume, utilizing oracle and SQL financial databases.

DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS, IDENTIFYING BOTH ESSENTIAL AND MARGINAL DUTIES:

* Experience with Microsoft SQL servers - application developers; not much web development. * Must have experience working on professional software, preferably not proprietary or small applications. * Experience working in large environments government agencies, large integrators, etc.

Windows .NET Administrator - DC Metro area

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The .NET Administrator includes specializations to conceptualize, design, develop and deploy total system/product solutions for Global-wide information technology. • Ensure the recoverability, availability, scalability and performance of the Windows .NET environment. • Maintain availability and performance of our public facing a development systems • Setup, configure and harden Windows. • Provide on-going monitoring and administration of Windows systems running .NET applications • Test and install patches and updates for the operating systems and Applications Servers • Maintain and administer a .NET production and development environment. • Perform system backups and plan for disaster recovery. • Document system configurations and procedures for system management. • Help maintain the 24 x 7 availability of our production systems. • Coordinate with the Security Administrator and Systems Analyst to improve and maintain the technical standards of the environment. • Should have an understanding of basic scripting, such as WSH, VBS and C#. • Researches, evaluates and stays current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies.

Minimum Education The individual shall possess a Bachelor’s of Science (Bachelor’s degree) degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Logistics, Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree in any of the above mentioned disciplines may be substituted for three years of experience. The .NET Administrator should possess a minimum three years Windows and one year of UNIX/Linux Systems Administration experience. This includes: • Building servers, installing and patching operating systems. • Experience with .NET at an enterprise level. • Support of multiple web-enabled database applications. • Support of .NET framework, MS SQL and IIS. • .NET servers’ administration, configuration, operation, capacity planning and tuning. • .NET cluster experience. • .NET development experience.

JAVA Developer - DC Metro area

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities: • Participate in problem determination, reproduction and remedy. • Develop general system design including future system requirements, interfaces and integration points. • Document architectural issues, including functional and integration problem components • Create new programs and customize existing programs utilizing the following programming languages, frameworks and development environments: Java/J2EE, Script(any), XML/XSLT, SQL. • Utilize standard software development methodologies, processes, techniques and quality planning methods in all phases of work. • Facilitate effective communication between customer’s support and the product division. Required Skills: Experience with any financial transactional system 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE 1-2 years in system architecture and design Proficiency in Java, XML/XSLT, Web Services and Messaging systems. Good knowledge of Patterns & Practices, ANT, JUNIT Strong analytical skills, including gathering, compiling, and documenting system and technical requirements and writing specifications Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communications skills Experience interfacing with the customer A working knowledge of SWIFT ISO15022 & ISO20022 is required Experience from a technical development perspective with one of the following products: • Biztalk Accelerator for SWIFT • TIBCO Solutions for SWIFT Net • SunGard Business Integration's Mint • Volante Composer for SWIFT • IBM's Merva or IBM Websphere Message Broker • Singularity FS Manager Qualification: MS/MBA/BS CS or equivalent - there are a number of people in technical financial services positions that have a BS in Computer Science and an MBA.

Senior MCSE - Indiantown Gap, PA

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for implementation, management, and maintenance of IT systems infrastructure including Microsoft operating systems, server applications, and their related security issues. Manages changes to existing IT systems and implements new features and components within those systems. Implements new IT systems from delivery of the components through configuration of hardware, installation and configuration of software, integration into a network, documentation, development of monitoring, and production acceptance. Troubleshoots and resolves issues with systems within area of expertise. Designs systems and procedures to monitor, trend and perform capacity planning on customer IT systems. Supports escalation of technical issues by providing technical support to TSG's customers within their areas of expertise. Interprets and complies with DoD IT Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) for security C&A of unclassified and classified IT to implementations.

DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS, IDENTIFYING BOTH ESSENTIAL AND MARGINAL DUTIES:

Enterprise systems design and architecture, Enterprise level Active Directory design implementation, and support, Advanced Group Policy design and administration for Enterprises, Server Virtualization using Hyper-V and VMware, Public folder design and architecture for Enterprises. Active Directory and Exchange SME. Ability to mentor within the technical team and across departments. College level writing level with proposals, design documents, standard operating procedures. Proven presentation skills for technical and management audiences. Extensive experience with Security Readiness Review Scripts (SRRs) for Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
